  18. <p>     "My name Jose Jimenez" was a pop catchphrase in the 1960s
  19. that catapulted Bill Dana to TV stardom. But the comedian
  20. shelved his shy Latino alter ego to try other voices,
  21. particularly his own. Once under fire from Hispanic groups as
  22. being a stereotype, Jose, who also poses as a cook, is coming
  23. out of retirement this month to do TV ads for a Nashville
  24. Toyota dealer. Jose, says Dana, now has "an amazing facility
  25. with English." Still, he probably won't pitch for Jonda or
  26. Heneral Motors.
